LepreCon Guidelines
- A true Leprechaun causes mischief, but never at the cost of others. Leprechauns have been associated with rainbows, pots of gold, and lucky charms. Although original leprechauns were said to have worn red, the present day ones are known for their green attire and association with the country of Ireland.
- Leprechauns dress for all occasions. Although they love to celebrate the holiday known as St. Patrick's Day, which is in March, as a true Irishman, a Leprechaun knows to prepare for heavy wind, rain or chilly weather. He dresses in layers, with sensible, but dapper clothing such as fancy belts with gold buckles, dress shoes and even a jacket. Hats typically are made part of daily attire as well.
- Leprechauns promote fun at all times! Carrying around things like gold coins or the crowd favorite "Lucky Charms" can brighten anyone's day even if there is no rainbow in sight!
- A crowd of happy leprechauns defines a fun time. Sick leprechauns are frowned upon.
- Leprechauns know when tricks are not acceptable. They know they must always pay for food and drink and tip the staff.
- Leprechauns always dress up! Outfits may vary. Green however is a must! Some have beards. There may also be sexy female leprechauns as well! Can't forget the lucky charms either ;)
- Leprechauns do not drink and drive! They plan ahead to make sure public transportation, fellow sober leprechauns or taxis are readily available to transport them after such events. Skipping from location to location is acceptable, but at the end of the day they have a safe plan!
- You SHOULD address everyone as "Lad"or "Lassy".
- You MIGHT want to bring a pot of gold or something lucky.
- You MIGHT want to drink like an Irish Leprechaun.
- HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO ALL THE IRISH AND IRISH AT HEART!
